Regional Public Safety Telecommunicator / Dispatcher

The Town of Holbrook has an immediate opening for (5) part-time Regional Public Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher’s.  Interested applicants should have flexible availability, experience in dispatching, familiarity with radio equipment and communications, computer-aided dispatch (CAD), and the ability to multi-task and work under stressful conditions. Contact with the public is required.

Minimum requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma/GED. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.  Preference will be given to applicants with the following certifications: Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) Public Safety Telecommunicator PST1, APCO Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) and valid CPR certification.
